December 4 — “Manas Is My Heritage”
December 4 — “Manas Is My Heritage” Day Events and Open Class Session At Tokmok Medical College, events and an open class session titled “Manas Is My Heritage” were organized in honor of December 4. The purpose of the event was to convey the educational values of the great heroic epic Manas to young people, strengthen patriotic spirit, and promote our cultural heritage. During the event, students received information about: • the birth of Manas; • his relatives and companions (choro); • prominent manaschi (epic storytellers). The historical and educational significance of the epic was thoroughly explained. Additional activities included: • a quiz on the epic Manas to reinforce students’ knowledge; • talented students reciting excerpts from the epic, demonstrating artistic expression; • a patriotic song performance; • a dance performance that created a festive and inspiring atmosphere.
