Final State Certification for the “Nursing” Specialty within the Pilot Project Framework

The final state certification was held at the medical college for the first graduates of the “Nursing” specialty, who studied under an experimental curriculum supported by Switzerland.

The certification included both theoretical and practical components. The practical part incorporated OSCE elements, allowing for an objective assessment of the students’ professional competencies.

To ensure transparency and high-quality evaluation, qualified specialists were included in the State Examination Commission:

Chairman of the Commission:

  • Turgunbek Usubaliev — Deputy Director for Medical Affairs of the Chuy Interdistrict General Practice Center.

Commission Members:

  • Gulzana Mambetzhanova — Head of the Clinical Cycle at Tokmok Medical College;
  • Asyl Naamatova — Lecturer of the “Fundamentals of Nursing” course cycle;
  • Raikhan Keneshbek kyzy — Senior Nurse of the Cardiology Department at Tokmok City General Practice Center;
  • Aida Mambetaeva — Senior Nurse at Family Medicine Center No. 3 in Tokmok.

External monitoring during the certification process was conducted by:

  • Asel Ablesova — Specialist from the Department of Medical Education and Science, Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic;
  • Zamira Babalieva — Head of the Educational Division, Department of Nursing, I. Akhunbaev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy.

This experience marked an important step in implementing a new approach to training nursing professionals and demonstrated a high level of organizational and methodological work by the college. At the same time, considering the novelty of the project and the integration of OSCE elements, the college will continue to gain practical experience in this area.
