Final State Certification within the Pilot Project for the “Nursing” Specialty
At the Medical College, the final State Certification was held for the first graduates of the “Nursing” specialty, who studied under the experimental curriculum supported by Switzerland.
The certification included both theoretical and practical components. The practical part incorporated OSCE elements, allowing for an objective assessment of students’ professional readiness.
To ensure transparency and high-quality evaluation, the State Certification Commission included qualified specialists:
Chairman of the Commission:
- Usubaliev Turgunbek Zhenishbekovich — Deputy Director for Medical Affairs at the Chui Interdistrict General Practitioners Center.
Commission Members:
- Mambetzhanova Gulzana Sharipbekovna — Head of the Clinical Cycle Department at Tokmok Medical College;
- Naamatova Asyl Mukhamedovna — Lecturer of the “Fundamentals of Nursing” cycle committee;
- Keneshbek kyzy Raikhan — Senior Nurse of the Cardiology Department at Tokmok City General Practitioners Center;
- Mambetayeva Aida Talasovna — Senior Nurse of Family Medicine Center No. 3 in Tokmok.
As part of the certification, external experts conducted monitoring:
- Aisulu Ablesova — Specialist of the Department of Medical Education and Science, HR and Legal Support Department, Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic;
- Zamira Babalieva — Head of the Academic Department of the Nursing Department at I. Akhunbaev KSMU.
This experience marked an important step in implementing a new approach to training nursing specialists, demonstrating the high level of organizational and methodological work at the college. At the same time, considering the innovative nature of the project and the introduction of OSCE elements into the certification process, the college still needs to gain further practical experience in this area.
